President & Chief Operations Officer
Anne loves transformational stories, and joining The Yellow Tractor Project is a natural. Gardening and education are two of Anne's deepest passions, and she brings her knowledge and wisdom to Yellow Tractor. For over twenty years, Anne has worked in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors of fine arts, education, community capacity building, and engagement, internet start-up as well as traditional healthcare marketing and sales. Anne can be happily found playing in the dirt, enjoying her three children, two dogs and husband.
Jessica comes to "The Tractor" from South Africa. She believes that the communications, education, and actions of The Yellow Tractor Project take an important first step toward establishing a balance between the environment and mankind. Yellow Tractor has shown Jessica what a passion for good life and food is all about and she is proud to be a part of such an inspiring project. When not working on The Project, she is more than likely creating and relating with the medley of Chicagoans she calls her friends.
New Sector Alliance Resident in Social Enterprise & External Relations
Rana comes to The Yellow Tractor Project as a Resident in Social Enterprise of New Sector Alliance, an Americorps program. Rana is thrilled to bring her passion for sustainability and social responsibility to the Yellow Tractor Team. Outside of Yellow Tractor, Rana can be found DIYing, practicing yoga, and performing in the Chicago a capella community.
Returning Summer Intern 2013-14 DePauw University
Christine Betterman is a junior at DePauw University and is studying history and sociology. She is fascinated by health and sustainability and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Yellow Tractor. In her free time she enjoys writing music, volunteering at the local elementary school, practicing yoga, and pestering her family and friends to try new things.
Katey has worked with children and families regarding community health, wellness, and gardening for 15 years. She loves being a part of The Yellow Tractor Project's ambitious action plan, and contributing to the food sustainability of communities everywhere. When she's not working at The Yellow Tractor Project, she can be found tending her own home garden, walking her dog, or cheering at a White Sox game.
Summer Intern 2014 University of Denver
Jess is a junior majoring in human geography and minoring in sustainability and psychology at the
University of Denver. She is eager to be apart of the Yellow Tractor Project team this summer and is excited to collaborate with their social mission.
She hopes to expand her horizons about various issues regarding sustainability and community
development in the Chicagoland area and in return apply those practices back in Denver, CO. When Jess is not in the office, she enjoys hiking in the rocky mountains of Colorado, listening to music, spending time with loved ones, and volunteering.
