Jamaal Buchanan is a Chicago native who is a graduate of St. Ignatius College Preparatory High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bradley University, and then traveled to the east coast to receive his Juris Doctorate Degree from Vermont Law School, the number one rated ABA Law School for Environmental Law. Jamaal has honed his legal skills by working in prestigious law firms such as Nash Disability Law in Chicago and also The Cochran Firm-Los Angeles, which is the flagship office of the late Johnnie L. Cochran. In 2014 Jamaal Buchanan accepted a position with the Cook County State’s Attorney Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney, prosecuting criminals in the First Municipal Division. Additionally, Jamaal is the founder and owner of Buchanan Management and Consulting LLC. Buchanan Management has been a vital part of the careers of numerous SAG, AFTRA and Equity actors, screen writers, producers, and musicians. In addition to Yellow Tractor Project, Jamaal is a board member of Project Syncere, The Erica Hubbard Foundation, and The Talent Managers Association.
